Tarway is a 25 metre, mid century steel hull barge, which has been converted into a luxury home. The large open plan living area and kitchen is filled with natural light and there is an additional living area to the rear which opens on to the deck. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a generous master and large en-suite, the space is highly flexible.
Additional features include central heating, log burning stove, heat recovery system and significant built in storage throughout all done to an exceptionally high standard.
Tarway is currently moored at the sought after location of Lots Ait Island on the Thames, West London. The mooring is rented by way of a mooring agreement, which can be transferred to the purchaser subject to agreement by the freeholders. However she could also be moved to an alternative location if desired. All services are available including WIFI, electricity, water and sewerage. Tarway was recently dry docked where her hull was repainted and all anodes replaced as well as full survey undertaken.
The current owners have designed the layout to work as a practical, home which works for a family whilst also benefitting from the charm and quirkiness of boat life. This boat really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
